Christmas time in Zagreb is a must see. Zagreb Christmas fair has lots of activities, exhibitions and food&drink stalls under the beutiful decorations.

Helena Kanini Kiiru
& Tyedric Hill

Helena Kanini Kiiru (CRO), a young dancer and teacher from Zagreb with Kenyan roots, has shown talent for music and dance since childhood. After 8 years of exploring hip hop and dancehall, she discovered a passion for jazz, which she sees as a contemporary artform connected to African diasporic dance. Her style is unique, blending inspiration from both OGs and the modern dance world.
 
Tyedric Hill (USA) is a traveling artist rooted in Black cultural dance traditions, honoring his ancestors through personal authenticity and community. Trained by notable mentors, he focuses on authentic jazz and preserves the cultural lineage in styles like Lindy hop, hip-hop, and house. His work bridges the past and future of Black social dance on a global scale.

TEACHERS

Majda Stanojević
& Srđan Budić

Majda and Srđan (SRB) are swing dancers from Belgrade, Serbia, and the founders of Hoppin’ Swing dance school. Srđan has been dancing since 2014, and Majda joined the scene in 2017. They are known for their dynamic style, which emphasizes improvisation, playfulness, and a smooth, natural flow on the dance floor. In addition to developing the swing dance scene in Belgrade, they travel, dance, and compete across Europe.

Party ticket

Friday’s taster class will be Afrobeats with Melanie and on Sunday we’ll have Hip Hop with Suz.

 

On Friday and Saturday we will be dancing to live music with Silver Lining (Friday) and Sharp 6 (Saturday).

Single party tickets with taster included are available until Wednesday, November 27th at 23:59.

 

You will be able to buy the single party ticket at the door (cash only) for the same price but you won’t be able to attend taster classes.
