Workshop Level Guide
This year’s Lindy hop workshops are designed specifically for beginner, intermediate and advanced dancers, with three distinct levels of instruction. No matter your experience level, we have classes for you. As a beginner, you are relatively new to the world of swing dancing and you are looking to improve. As an intermediate or advanced dancer, you should be adept at leading or following across various tempos and enjoy playing with musicality and improvisation.
To ensure you’re placed in the group that best matches your skill level, we ask that you complete a quick questionnaire as part of your registration. This will help us assess your experience and make sure you’re learning alongside dancers of similar abilities.
You’ll receive your group placement at least one week before the event—no audition is required. Our goal is for you to challenge yourself, have fun, and make the most of the classes.
